Update 19th March 2020

Hello again families of Dosbarth 2, yes

As you will be aware, school will close tomorrow 3.15pm Friday 20th March 2020. crying At the time of writing this we have no news on arrangements/plans for children of Key Workers and children that are identified as needing provision by the government. We honestly know as much as you! (we found out about the decision to close schools from a member of staff at home watching the news that text us) surprise

Today our class numbers have dwindled as parents keep children off due to isolation or fear, so incase the numbers fall again tomorrow, we will be sending home with your child a pack of resources to keep you going through the closure. If you are absent from school already please try to call in and collect the pack or phone the school to arrange for it to be sent with a friend/family member.

I sincerley hope I have sent too much and that we will be back in school sooner rather than later. Please see my letter inside the pack.

P.E. Kits, Mothers Day cards and plants are also being sent home. The seeds are very early in their 'growth' so please water every 2 or 3 days without saturating the soil. Place the pot on a dish/saucer to enable the water to drain through. The children loved planting and caring in class for the flower especially as it was for taking home for mummy!

I believe there is a way for you to make comments on this website class page/school page. If there is and you do so, I will try to reply to your questions/comments through here.

Please do not battle over working with the children. The pack is not a 'must do' and no one is going to be in trouble with Mrs Mac for not doing it laughyes

Lastly, just to wish you all well and that you all stay healthy. It's a worrying time and lots of you are understandably anxious. (I am too for my own family).

Take care of each other and hope to be back together soon.

Mrs Mac and Support Staff laugh
