Spring Term 2020 so far...

Hello families of Dosbarth 2,

We have had a busy term so far and hope you liked your Love Hearts that the children loved weaving with wool for Valentines.

Have a look at the gallery for pictures of our bird feeders and rockets. The bird feeders we hung in the  Foundation Phase garden didn't last long in the windy weather but the birds enjoyed them.

Polite Reminder - sharing picture stories, reading and learning the words in the spelling books is really important homework sent weekly. It really does make a difference to your childs progress. Please try to spend a few minutes each evening on these.

Some children do not bring a drinking flask/bottle to class. Please try to provide/send a drinking bottle each day for use in class.

We have been struck with the dreaded Chicken Pox! Only 6 children made it to class today 13/3/20. Please do not send your child back to school until '5 days after the onset of blisters AND until blisters stop appearing and all the blisters have scabbed' WWW.NHS.WALES.ORG

We have been taking all precautions possible with the Coronovirus outbreak. We always remind the children to wash their hands but have been monitoring them more closely during this week. The children have been washing their toys in the water play with warm water and washing up liquid. Staff have been using their own time in breaks and after school washing and wiping learning resources and surfaces with diluted anti-bac.

Parents Evening is approaching. Look out for the letter that you can request a suitable time slot on by returning the slip. It will be in your childs book bag next week.

Does anybody know anybody that can donate drawing paper or colouring books to school for the creative table?

Does anybody have a scooter or 'ride along' for our outdoor play that's not used at home any more?

Does anybody have any dressing up clothes that are no longer required?

Does anybody have any old pots, pans, kitchen utensils for our outdoor mud kitchen?

As always we are here if you need us and thank you for your continued support.
