Mrs McNamee & Mrs Mulgrew 2020 - 2021

Mrs McNamee

Croeso i bawb  / Welcome to all

Mrs McNamee (Mrs Mac) & Mrs Mulgrew are the class teachers and they and the children are supported by the following staff during the week.

Miss Franco HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) and Classroom/Teaching Assistants (CA/TA) Miss Pritchard, Mrs Durcan and Miss Crocombe.

The children will be having a healthy snack every morning. Please send snack money in promptly as we order it to be delivered a week in advance. (see separate letter in News section)

Unfortunately, toothbrushing cannot take place at the moment due to Covid restrictions.

P.E. will be on a Monday or Wednesday. Kit is not needed (Covid restriction). We are unable to do any gymnastics or invasion games but will be active in other ways like dancing, running, skipping and jumping about the yard.

Bookbags should be sent to school on a Friday please. They will be stored over the weekend and then books changed on a Monday and returned to you until the following Friday. Bookbags returned late will be stored until the next Monday change over.

Please send a suitable warm coat to school every day. This is because we are outdoors for part of the day everyday in rotation using the play areas in all weather. If you would like to send a pair of wellies to be kept in school these are welcome too.

Lunchboxes should be healthy. We have noticed that some children have several chocolate/sugary snacks in their bags/boxes as well as sandwiches and crisps. If you are unsure or worried about how much your child needs/wants to eat during the day please phone the office or email us. We will get back to you as soon as possible. Please make sure your childs lunchbox is clearly marked with their name. Lots of children have the same popular character/styles

A water bottle is needed in class for your child to help themself to a drink throughout the day. We will send it home everyday for washing. Please make sure your childs name is clearly marked on the bottle. Lots of children have the same bottles (popular character/styles).

It's been lovely getting to know all of our new families that have joined St Anthony's for the first time. As a staff I hope you have found us approachable, understanding and friendly. If you have a concern or are worried about anything please phone the office or email us and one of us will get back to you as soon as possible.

Look out for our school newsletters on this site and updates on our class page.   or
