Reminders
School Day
The school day starts at 8.55am and finishes at 3.15pm (Nursery finish at 11.30am).
In the mornings Mr Morgan will be at the gate welcoming children into school. All children should make their own way to class independently where staff will be waiting. If you need to pass a message on please pass on to Mr Morgan at the gate or remember you can use Seesaw at any time.
At the end of the school day the gate will be unlocked so you can enter the playground to collect your child. Foundation Phase children will exit via the steps next to the Foundation Phase outdoor area.
Uniform and Equipment
All children must bring a coat and a named water bottle to school. Please ensure all uniform is labelled clearly. If your child is bringing a packed lunch from home please make sure it is in a small box / bag. School lunches are available (see menu).
Log ins
Please contact your child’s class teacher if you have misplaced any of your child’s log in details.
Reading
Please bring reading folders to school every day, reading can take place throughout the week and if we don’t have your child’s folder in school it makes it difficult for us to read with your child as we have a limited supply of books. Please try to read with your child for a short time each evening we would encourage you to make a comment in your child’s reading record each time you read at home. Remember the Oxford Owl online book library is available and has lots of books and interactive activities for you to enjoy.
Spellings / Word Work
New spelling or word work will be sent home once a week. Similar to the reading please make sure this work / book is in your child’s book bag each day.
Homework
Homework will be set per half term. There will be 6 different homework tasks for you to complete over 6 weeks. You can choose which homework you do each week. There will also be an extra Maths activity set through Seesaw each week.
Please do not bring homework books back into school. Once your child has completed a homework task please upload a picture into the correct folder on Seesaw.
