Hello again families of Dosbarth2

I hope you are all keeping well and the 1st week of home educating was not too stressful coolThe weather has been kind to us so far and being honest my 10yr old son Michael has spent a lot of time in the garden rather than at the table doing lessons with me or his dad winkwhile we adjust to this new temporary 'way of living'.

School has been a very 'weird' place this weeksurprisewith the hall set up for any children that needed us and most of the building out of bounds/locked downcrying

The HUB at Broughton Primary School (as you will have read in the letter on the main page) will be a strange building to our staff and pupils. For any of you that need to access this care, the St Anthony's staff that are there daily will be caring for your child/children in a designated area, away from the other schools accessing the same provision.

Lunch is provided but we will have limited resources to keep your child busy. The letter suggests that your child brings their own pencilcase and a suitable toy (to limit cross contamination) they can play with on their own due to the 2m distancing rules that will be observed as rigourosly as possible. Children will not be allowed to sit together or play together in close proximity. This will be adhered to for everyones safety as sensitively and as kindly as is possible. We will hopefully have school intranet access for our St Anthony's chrome books and i-pads.

Tips for home pack I have thought of this week -

You Tube Jolly Phonics song, to help learn/practise phonic sounds and actions

You Tube Alphablocks and Numberblocks are good for Reception children

I hope we will all be back together soon where we belong together in class.laugh

Most importantly take care, stay safe and stay positive yes

heartand hugs to all my little people

From Mrs Mac
